German, born in London, lived in Bombay, Srinagar, Paris, and Hamburg. He studied architecture and design in Germany and graduated from THD in 1991. In his long career, he has worked for offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Leipzig, and Hamburg. From 1996-2004, he was part of the Bothe Richter Teherani Architects design team in Hamburg, working on large-scale projects like the ICE train station Frankfurt Airport and residential projects. In 2004, he opened a branch for Bothe Richter Teherani Architects in Dubai, where he served as the managing director from 2004-2010, overseeing major high-rise buildings on Sheikh Zayed Road (Voco Hotel) and Business Bay (Bay Gate).
Since 2010, he has had his own architecture + design studio, mainly focusing on high-end luxurious residential projects and private homes. In 2018 he founded Studio Wolfgang Regner, later expanding it to WOLFGANG REGNER ARCHITECT located in City Walk Dubai.
